Let the ability to change become a state of mind.

Classic projects for change in the sense of “thinking happens at the top and action below” have become obsolete.

In an ever more digitised VUCA world, markets, products, services and customer requirements are changing more and more quickly.

This unpredictable change requires quick reactions through leadership that takes on a stronger moderating role and is more collegial. Ideally, this consists of motivated employees who think for themselves, who are satisfied with their employer and workplace and who understand for themselves the significance and trend of these demands. However, this in turn requires agile, collegial leadership as well as the necessary knowledge, methods and instruments for this. Agile leadership must be understood and lived. Otherwise this by now taken-for-granted skill of providing innovative solutions in the moment is hardly producible. Intuition and awareness of inner drivers are faster than a long-term analysis of the current situation, objectives and measures. However, the necessary knowledge for that and the necessary mindset for this must first be learned.

Of course, every executive wants to have motivated employees who think and act for themselves. However, the prerequisites needed for this in terms of mindset, and the necessary methods and instruments of agile leadership have to be understood and lived.

VUCA World

This term is no longer an alien concept for most executives. However, only a few have decided to regularly observe the symptoms in their own company and to react accordingly. After all, everything still runs according to old scenarios, and one never knows for sure whether a reversal will be worthwhile, or whether the existing power structures in the company might not even punish this in the short term. This kind of cautious attitude is very well understood by consultants, and they are able to shape the transition in mindset of executives and employees into an increasingly agile and collegial kind of leadership.

Agility also requires the quality of letting go and is often perceived as loss of control and destabilisation. Of course, many thus also fear imminent loss of power.

As a rule, every person who plays a role in a company is aware that their company is facing inevitable change in terms of digitisation and due to demographic developments. So much can change here every day, that even successful and historically established business models can quickly lose ground and disappear from the market. The only way to react to this is with a stronger capacity for innovation and an ever more powerful, meaningful response to the changed requirements of customers. myConsult promotes this change in mindset in a respectful and at the same time sustainable way.

Agile leadership and its most essential instruments and methods

Try it out, discard it and start over again. Fast reactions, strong orientation towards users, deliberate follow-up and concentrating on the essentials allow most executives and employees to jointly define and implement new work steps together within an agile leadership framework. One develops the courage to be honest with others, reflects oneselves carefully, and is then jointly involved in the success as well.

Methods like Scrum, for example, are increasingly finding their way out of the world of software development, where they have been applied up until now, into the normal world of processes. Leadership occurs through the system itself and not through presumed authority. It is jointly clarified within the framework of the team whether someone can take on a task, what they need for it, and how long they need with each resource. All participants bear the full responsibility together and organise themselves. They know their deadlines and monitor these themselves, without the need for managers to remind them.

For most managers – but also for most employees – this will tend to sound like either a dream or an impossibility.
myConsult helps you to establish this – both in terms of mindset and the necessary methods and instruments – so that this dream becomes a reality. In doing so, we proceed purely from practical examples from within the company and only use realistic examples from the current environment.

Processes within the scope of corporate development to increase changeability are the main focus of myConsult’s work. We have decades of experience in promoting the success factors listed below for modern change projects.

Together with you, we develop a clear analysis of the current status of the company and its communication processes, both internal and external. We develop an awareness of what the problem with the current conditions is and promote the desire for change.
We support the uncovering of potential and promote its realisation.

We identify obstacles and provide suggestions as to how to remove these in an agile, responsible manner.
Management models are reviewed, employees strengthened, leadership and communication skills restored.
Employees are empowered to think from the customer’s point of view, to develop ideas in this regard and to implement them in the interests of an inner responsibility for the agile approach.
